Assessment plays an important part to help educators and parents recognise children’s progress, to understand their needs, and to support their curricular activities.
At Little Haven, ongoing assessments forms an integral part of the learning and development process.
Assessments are often done using day-to-day observations about children’s progress in school and the observations that parents share. Communications through verbal and written reports are given to parents so parents can appreciate the progress of their child’s development. If there be any emerging concerns, or an identified need, the school will address these with the parent on a one-to-one discussion.
